Workshop AI/ML : Building Successful Proof of Concepts

Objective

This workshop provides a practical approach to executing AI/ML proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, combining theory and hands-on application. Participants will be guided in developing their own PoC strategies with tailored coaching and feedback.

For who: SME, MidCaps and Nonprofits professinals based in Brussels and willing to start developing their own approaches towards Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning PoCs projects.

Coaching/practical terms: After the first day, participants will be handed an assignment based on their project so the day after they can get tailored feedback with the instructor.

- Gain a theoretical introduction into starting successful AI/ML PoC projects.

- A base to formulate and design the necessary steps for developing their own PoCs

- Get tailored insights into formulating and executing a PoC strategy aligned with their business needs.

Instructor: Corneliu Cofaru senior post-dc from the VUB AI LAB.

Corneliu Cofaru holds a PhD degree in computer science from Gent University, 2012. Prior to joining the AI Lab in 2020 he worked as an AI engineer, consultant and open source developer for several startups. In November 2020 he joined the AI Lab as a post-doctoral researcher in the Applied Research group, working on knowledge-driven AutoML approaches.
